Donald Winn Williams II, who described himself as a fighter, entrepreneur, and a father, said he yelled at the former Minneapolis officer to check Floyd’s pulse after Chauvin placed the victim in what he called a ‘blood choke.’

When questioned by Matthew Frank, Williams said he saw how Floyd slowly ‘fade away like a fish in a bag.’

“You see his eyes slowly pale out and he knew…he vocalized it, his eyes rolled to the back of his head, you saw the blood coming out of his nose, he said his stomach hurt and from then on he was lifeless. He didn’t speak,” he continued.

Williams said that what Chauvin did was a blood choke – a technique to cut off Floyd’s circulation.

When he had called Chauvin out for using the dangerous technique, he said that that he and the former officer “looked at each other right in the eyes and he acknowledged it.”

Recalling the incident, the MMA fighter also had some words for officer Tou Thao, who he said was ‘the dictator’ on the scene.

“He dictated what went on on the curb, he controlled the crowd, he controlled me. He was the guy who let it go on while it went on,” Williams said.

On Monday, a 911 dispatcher who saw the live video of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd said that she called the supervisor of the officers as she felt ‘something wasn’t right.’

“I first asked if the screens had frozen because it hadn’t changed. I thought something might be wrong,” she expressed. “They had come from the back of the squad to the ground and my instincts were telling me that something was not right.”

She continued: “It was an extended period of time. I can’t tell you the exact period and they hadn’t told me if they needed any more resources but I became concerned that something might be wrong.”
