Celine Dion is never afraid to show fans what she’s really made of.
The 51-year-old Grammy winner has made a new music video for her latest song ‘Imperfections,’ in which she removes all her make up!
Filmed in black and white, the video features Dion wearing numerous outfits combined with moments of her staring at a makeup table, where she eventually takes a piece of cloth and removes the makeup on her face.
The singer appears completely without cosmetics in the final frame of the music video.
“I got my own imperfections/I got my own set of scars to hide/I got my own imperfections/I can’t hold your heart when I’m fixing mine,” she sings.
Dion’s weight has been the subject of scrutiny over the last year but the singer has said that she’s completely healthy.
In April this year, she was named the new face of L’Oreal Paris.
“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves,” Dion said in a statement.
She stays young-looking without cosmetics thanks to keeping a healthy diet and active lifestyle. In April, she told People that she does ballet four times a week.
Speaking about her ballet practice, Dion said: “Dancing has been in my DNA all of my life. It’s a dream. And so hard! I do this four times a week.
She added: “People say, ‘She’s a lot thinner’ but I’m working hard. I like to move and [weight loss] comes with it.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dion also shared her usual meal in the morning. “Normal breakfast is a cup of coffee (an espresso), and a croissant.”
