A pet owner was surprised after spotting her cat climbing the ceiling like a creepy-crawly.
As Katie Shrume explained in an interview with The Dodo, her cat, Peewee, is an energetic pet who loves climbing and playing around her home.
“Her personality is crazy. She’s really active. She loves cuddles and loves to groom me,” Katie told The Dodo.
As the proud cat owner went on to say, Peewee one day managed to surprise her after climbing on top of the fridge in the kitchen before taking to the indent section of the ceiling to practice climbing.
“She’s only gotten halfway. She can turn around up there too.” Katie added.
As the cat owner soon realized, Peewee’s attempt at climbing the ceiling wasn’t a one-time adventure whereas she now allegedly takes to the heights whenever she has extra energy to burn.
“She does it probably about once a week. I call it the climbing zoomies,” Katie said.
Speaking of clever cats, a stray kitten has gone viral after it was caught on camera leading shoppers to the cat food aisle and showing them what it wanted to eat.
The resourceful kitten was filmed by 33-year-old Tania Lizbeth Santos Coy Tova from Mexico who explained how the cat waited for people outside a local supermarket before leading them inside and taking them to the cat food aisle.
“Every time he came to the store, we greeted each other and did the same, he guided me to the shelf and chose the food he wanted,” Tania, who works as a teacher, said in an interview with Metro.co.uk.
As the woman explained, the cat, whom she named Rabbit due to his looks, would lead customers to cat food before reaching for the product he wanted.
As seen in screenshots from the 33-year-old’s video, Rabbit turned around and looked at Tania as they reached the shelves filled with cat food. Then, as the woman picked up one of the food sachets, the stray stood up on his hind legs and reached out for the food with its paws.
Fortunately, the clever cat didn’t have to beg for food forever, whereas he was welcomed into a forever home by Tania and her partner.
“One day I noticed that he had many injuries and I decided to follow him to find out if he had a home,” Tania added.
After realizing that the cat was staying at an abandoned house all alone, the teacher and her partner decided to provide Rabbit with a forever home.
