Ireland hosted a reunion of the Game of Thrones cast on Sunday and among the many highlights of the reunion, the best one was the moment when Jason Momoa allowed his former onscreen wife, Emilia Clarke on his lap during a photo shoot. They both were perched on the throne made up of Iron.
The picture was posted on Jason Momoa’s Instagram with a caption that clearly reflected the bonding of the former wife with Jason. He declared publicly how difficult it is, not to smile, whenever they are together.
Between 2011 and 2012, Momoa featured in only ten episodes as the lead warrior Khal Drogo in the hit TV series, “Game of Thrones” that aired on HBO. Nevertheless, no one can forget the epic arranged marriage of Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
While declaring his undying love for his former wife, he also said that he is grateful to be a part of an epic TV show.
He also said that while he was honored to be a part of the reunion, he was there to enjoy the black stuff (Irish dry stout Guinness) and for the hugs and kisses.
Jason is more than a feet taller than Emilia at 6 feet and 4 inches.
Emilia who has been nominated thrice for the Emmy Awards commented on his post, “This is my attempt at performing the lift of Dirty Dancing.” She was styled by Petra Flannery and was dressed in a cropped blue shirt and flaring white pants. She also posed with Jan Rowles who is the Dialect coach and Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei in the series.
Kit Harrington, Daenerys’ nephew and lover, and the former king also ended up being in the arms of the 6’4″ Hawaiian. The position was then reversed soon.
In a few other pictures, Khaleesi was seen posing with Tyrion Lannister, the strategist (Peter Dinklage) and King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy).
Jason was also seen sporting a beer foam mustache while posing with Rory McCann, who plays the role of Sandor, the Warrior in the adventure-fantasy show “The Hound”.
Fans are still waiting to see what will become of the final season of the epic “Game of Thrones” series.
Moreover, if you want to see Jason Momoa back on screen, then you have the chance to see him playing the role of part-Cree, part-Irish fugitive in the third season of historical drama Frontier. The show will stream on Netflix and Discovery Canada in October.
