37-Year-Old Woman Passed Away In Car Crash While Heading To Hospital To See Her First Grandchild

Someday you are happy celebrating things, and suddenly something happens that destroys all the happiness. Similar happened to a woman who died in a car crash while she was on her way to the hospital.

A 37-year-old woman named Heather Belcher of Middletown met with an accident and died while she was headed to the hospital to meet her first grandchild.

She was traveling during the rush hour on a Tuesday evening that is around 5:30 p.m, north on /I-75 Lockland when her car got hit.

The car crash was so hard that Belcher died on the spot.

One of Belcher’s family member told Fox 19 that she was actually driving to the hospital to see her first grandchild.

“She had a daughter that was in the hospital giving birth to her first grandbaby,” said Jessica Bratton.

“It’s devastating that her first grandbaby is going to have to share that tragic day with her because you know on one hand you are celebrating the birth of your child and the other hand you are mourning the loss of your mom.”

Family members are doing preparations for Belcher’s funeral. Belcher’s aunt took to Facebook to share that how much she was in shock when she heard the news.

“I have just been sitting here in shock and sadness for about three hours now,” wrote Kim Palko SanJulian.

I found out earlier this evening that my niece Heather Renee Belcher was killed in a tragic car accident. I think I am numb. Please send prayers for my brother and her mother as they have to go through what no parent should have to go through.”

She later added, “This is still just too unreal!”

Other Facebook users also shared their condolences after reading her post.

“I am so very sorry to hear this. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers,” one of the users added.

“I am so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to you and the family. May God watch over all of you as you guys go through this terrible time,” added another.

Lockland police are investigating the crash and have not released any information to the public yet.

Such devastating news for Belcher’s family and her grandchild. Bad things always happen when you least expect them to be.
