Cudd was among 45 other candidates to earn a coveted badge, the Expert Field Medical Badge. This badge is limited to those who can complete a grueling physical and written test. It requires a lot of training and hard work.

The final part of the physical test requires the candidates to walk 12 miles carrying their heavy fatigues, a large backpack, and a rifle. An incredible feat for anyone, surely. Cudd was almost at the finish line – mere inches away – before the exhaustion took over. What she does will inspire you.

Cudd managed to rise above the 45 other candidates as one of the few who could complete the test. An incredible feat and one we salute her for. May this amazing feat inspire the rest of your day!
