Caitlyn Jenner, former reality television star and ex-partner of Kris Jenner, is currently running for governor of California and is one of the people that refuses to say that Donald Trump lost the most recent election.
They praise the former president as a “disrupter”.
Jenner identifies as a Republican and is one of the dozens of right-winged individuals who are running or thinking about running in order to replace the current governor of California, Democrat Gavin Newsom.
A daytime talk show co-host, Joy Behar, asked Jenner if she could acknowledge Trump’s loss in the last election but she failed to answer it completely.
Behar asks the star, “I want to ask you something before we go because we’re out of time.
Something that’s important for me to know. You say that you’re a Republican, and I’m just wondering because a lot of Republicans in this country believe that Donald Trump won the election and not Joe Biden. Are you one of those people, one of those Republicans?”
In which Jenner’s response is that she was “not going to get into that,” because the “election is over with”. She adds on that she thinks that he did “do some good things, he was a disrupter. I want to do the same thing.”
She refuses to acknowledge Behar’s question, saying that she wants to go in like Trump did and win as governor of California.
She says that she’s running as governor because she is “in it for the people.” She “wants to change the system for the positive.”
Last month, a CBS news poll had been published and more than 60% of the Republican Party voters on the poll had believed that Trump was the real winner of the election that occurred back in November, 2020. The poll was conducted between May 12th and 14th.
In recent news, people believe that Trump will become president yet again this upcoming August. Republican voters have been set on Trump winning the election, unable to accept his loss. The segment has triggered both parties, the speculation for Trump coming back to office is fairly high.
