Former employees from a Burger King fast-food chain outlet in Nebraska made sure their management was well aware of their mass resignation after they penned down their thoughts on the store’s gigantic public sign.
The viral sign read, ‘We all quit!” This was closely followed by a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ message on the massive advertisement.
Many called the public display a ‘slap in the face’ from the employees to the management who made sure their voice was heard loud and clear as they appeared to have some sort of ‘beef’ with them.
The restaurant is reportedly situated in Lincoln, Nebraska and ever since it was discovered and captured, it has gone viral across social media.
Local media reports claim that the employees went on to add some shocking claims about their horrifying working conditions in the outlet’s kitchen. This includes the lack of proper air conditioning and ventilation with temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees and even more, at some point.
In the same way, another employee also went on to add how she was hospitalized due to dehydration. She was later identified as the fast-food outlet’s general manager, Rachael Flores.
“We all felt that no one would go about noticing it because it was just one sign. However, it managed to go pretty crazy on Facebook. And that’s when I received a call from upper management sources. They explained to me how I needed to take it down immediately,” she went on to add.
Flores says she was working at the outlet since the start of January this year. Moreover, she felt that enough was enough and that’s why she opted to put in her resignation this month, adding how she even worked around 60 hours in a week.
After her decision, a total of eight employees from the same branch followed her lead and began voicing their complaints about the harsh working conditions.
