Everyone’s favorite cop comedy Brooklyn 99 cast has started the shooting of the seventh season.
Melissa Fumero, who plays Amy Santiago on the show, shared a picture of Terry Crews, Andy Samberg, and Stephanie Beatriz. In the picture, all are wearing their police jackets and looking towards a door.
Who knows what is the mystery behind this, but no doubt audiences are excited about the show.
It was revealed in May that the seventh season will be of 13 episodes long.
According to Deadline, the network’s executives revealed the number to the cast and crew – however, they said the same thing with season six and five.
It is not confirmed if there is any chance of more episodes being added to season seven further down the line.
In February, news of the seventh season was relayed to cast and crew, and the announcement was – luckily for us.
In the clip, an unseen woman can be heard saying: “You know how happy and proud we were to have you on NBC this season and we are even happier to say that we would love to have you back next season.”
The legendary series was dropped by Fox, the reason was falling viewing figures, but then NBC swooped in, saying it would produce one final season to wrap up the show and make everyone happy.
Content has been good, as got the positive feedback from viewers, so why not keep the Nine-Nine train running beyond the next 13 episodes?
“It’s been one of our great joys as a network to give Brooklyn Nine-Nine a second life,” said Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, Co-Presidents of Scripted Programming, NBC Entertainment. “Cheers to Dan Goor, Mike Schur, Luke Del Tredici and David Miner, and our amazing cast and crew who each week turn New York’s finest into New York’s funniest.”
