The cat, Paisley weighs 9.5kgs. This is just double the weight of a healthy cat and the fact cannot be denied that Paisley is just 4 years old.
The owner was unable to handle the cat and hence sent it to the rescue center. The staff at Cats Protection’s National Cat Adoption Centre took care of the cat.
The staff had to help the cat in cleaning because the cat could not clean it up all by herself. The fat was the biggest obstacle in that case.
What could be the reasons for Paisley’s overfat? It could be possible that she was fed more than needed, and skipped out on exercising.
The manager of the rescue center went speechless after he saw Paisley. It was the fattest cat for everyone have ever witnessed, the whole rescue centre agreed.
A member of the staff also claimed that he has never seen such a fat cat in his experience of 13 years. The rescue center then claimed that all that they can do with the cat is to control her diet and lower down the quantity of food she is given.
Talking about the behavior of Paisley, she loved it when someone fed her food and stayed indoor-only most of the time. The fact that she stayed indoor resulted in her lazy nature and lack of exercise.
Apart from her fat, Paisley loves to interact and it very sweet. It sometimes disheartens to see that the lovely cat has become the fattest round the corner.
Although the cat loves to sit on a human’s lap but failed to exercise.
This is for your information that Paisley has already found a new home. She will shift to the new home shortly. Currently, the cute cat has been going through a healthy lifestyle and lost one pound already as a result.
However, there are slight chances that she might suffer from Diabetes in the nearer future.
A person who knew the cat also claimed that due to her weight, she might have to suffer from a lot of health risks, including heart problems.
It is only regular check-ups and continuous healthy diet that would help her save from all of the health risks.
