Justice Stamper, 20, of Virginia was nearly killed in a car crash in Bristol, Tennessee last August, only 19 days after she married her 21-year-old husband, Jeremy. She was driving her car making a left turn when all of a sudden another car crashed right into her. Miraculously, she survived, although she was severely injured.

A few weeks after the tragic incident, Justice was shocked to learn something that would change her life forever – She revealed to her doctors that she could not recall anything that happened in the previous five weeks before the accident.point 478 |

Her husband, Jeremy, was very devastated to hear the sad news about his lovely wife’s amnesia, so he came up with a brilliant idea. Jeremy planned to recreate their wedding day on their one year anniversary so that his wife would at least have new memories of their wedding.

Their second wedding took place on Saturday, which was also their one year anniversary. It was held at Hungry Mother State Park in Marion. It was as beautiful just as the first wedding. Jeremy made sure that every detail was the same as the first wedding so that his wife could try to remember – it had a sunflower theme same as their first nuptials. But the bride wore a new dress on the day of the Stamper Wedding Round 2, according to TODAY.

‘Consider this the best gift that Jeremy could give you – your wedding back,’ the couple’s pastor said during the ceremony, WCYB reported.

At first, Justice was scared to tell her husband about the amnesia, but she finally summoned the courage one month after the crash to admit to him, that she had suffered a mild form of amnesia.

‘She said ”I don’t want you to be mad… but I don’t remember the wedding”,’ Jeremy Stamper recalled.

‘I was heartbroken and instantly said I would do it all again for her.’

Without telling his wife, Jeremy Stamper started a Go Fund Me page in May asking for help from family, friends and the public in helping to pay for a second wedding. He raised $9,340 in donations.

‘I picked up the phone and, in about ten minutes, I had the entire wedding, just about everything donated,’ he told TODAY.

Ken Heath, who helped organize the donations given to the Stampers said it was such a ‘wonderful opportunity’ for him to make a second wedding happen for his bride.

‘What a wonderful opportunity for him to be able to give this to her,’ Heath told WCYB.
Currently, Jeremy is in school and working while Justice is still recovering from the crash.

Justice repeatedly looked at the photos of their first wedding day and watched their video, but ‘nothing came back to me’, she told People.

‘It’s like going to a foreign country and not understanding what anyone is saying. It’s very confusing,’ she told the magazine.

‘We have truly been through some rough times and we really could use any help anyone can offer,’ Mr. Stamper previously wrote on the Go Fund Me page.

‘We are doing this fundraiser to take the load off of us and to help us do it again on our one-year anniversary (sic) so we can have a memory that we both can talk about and reminisce without someone getting upset.

‘Please, I ask for whatever you can give to help me give my wife … the perfect wedding (again), that she will remember and we can move on in our lives.

‘I have set the goal to $5,000 to allow us to comfortably afford this with what I am making working which means anything over that will make it easier on us to make it happen and give her the wedding she can’t forget no matter what.’

The two were married on August 1, 2014, at Hungry Mother State Park in Virginia before 75 guests. They then honeymooned in the Smokey Mountains.

‘We were at the top of the world, newlyweds and our whole lives head of us,’ Jeremy wrote on the fundraising website.

‘She was nearly killed in the impact but by the grace of God she survived,’ Jeremy said.

On the Go Fund Me page he set up, Jeremy Stamper wrote a note last month thanking those who donated to make the wedding happen.

‘Wow! God is so good and God is good all the time! He has truly answered our prayers! This is happening and it will be something Justice will never be able to forget no matter what happens!!! Thank you to everyone who has pitched in,’ he wrote.

‘Through God, he will bless and guide each and everyone in their own lives. All of this has taught us a very valuable lesson. Serving others and living a significant life is more important than a successful life and having everything on earth you could think of.

‘Everyone who has served us, we are going to take that and serve others. I know the people that have helped make this possible will see this and see the joy that it is bringing to our lives and make themselves happy knowing they were apart of it.’
