A 10-year-old boy has warmed everyone’s hearts with a letter he wrote for his neighbors.
The 4th grader named Troy was so excited that a golden retriever had come to his neighborhood so he offered to babysit the cute pooch named Arthur.
Troy’s adorable letter is now making rounds on social media.
“Hello neighbors, my name is Troy, I’m in 4th grade and I’m just wondering if maybe after this virus you need a dog sitter and if so, I can take your dog on walks and more,” his letter reads.
The heartwarming letter was shared on Arthur’s Instagram page, with the owner captioning the photo: “I made friends with a small hooman today. He’s like basically me-sized. I bet I can get him to give me more treats than my hoomans.”
Troy and Arthur soon had their first play date together.
“Just a quick pupdate – me and the smol neighbor had a really great (socially distant) play date today. Because he’s so smol we didn’t take any pics just for privacy purposes but he told me all about his dog fren and even showed me some dance moves!! I have a feeling we’re gonna be best buds!”
Arthur quickly became an internet sensation.“My hoomans told me that me and my fren Troy broke the puppernet yesterday,” the adorable pooch ‘wrote’ on Instagram.
““I’m glad it brought me so many new frens!! Do any of you have treats to spare? I celebrated my newfound celebrity status by trying to eat a dead baby bird because I gotta keep my hoomans humble.”
One internet user commented: “A child’s pure heart + a dog’s pure soul = a match made in heaven.”
Another wrote: “Troy is a good kid and that pup is sweeeeet.”
A third added: “Best doggos on the planet.”
