Bea Webster and Emma Webster-Mocket tied the knot in an incredible ceremony in Glasgow in 2017.
The two dazzling brides had their wedding pictures taken in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens by Kirsty McLachlan.
For their second anniversary, Bea shared some photos from the wedding and also a lovely story about a boy who saw them on their special day.
“Wee boy: LOOK AT THOSE PRINCESSES!
Boy’s mum: He thinks you both look like princesses.
Wee boy: Did one of you get married?
Emma: We married each other.
Wee boy: Two princesses then?
Boy’s mum: Yes, two princesses can marry each other!” And the boy gave a heartfelt smile!
Emma also shared her version of the story on social media, giving more details about the interaction with the little boy.
“I heard him shout ‘OMG LOOK AT THOSE PRINCESSES!!’ So we went to speak to him, his mum said ‘he thinks you look like princesses’ and the boy said ‘did one of you get married?’ To which I said ‘we married each other’ and the mother said ‘see, 2 princesses!’
“And the boy just looked so excited to have met us. I was a bit apprehensive about having our photos taken in public but people were congratulating us and smiling and telling us how beautiful we looked. I’ll never forget this moment.”
One person commented: “OMG!!!! I died. And my story is NOT as amazing as yours but a precious little prince also admired me in my wedding gown, calling me a princess, and he WOULD. NOT. LET. GO. OF. MY. HAND. I exploded on the spot, obviously. We do not deserve the pureness of children.”
Another wrote: “Big appreciation for that boy’s mum who straight up tells him ‘yeah, this is a thing that happens.’ That lad will turn out alright.”
