11-Year-Old Boy Tragically Shot Himself During Sixth Grade Online Zoom Class


A young boy tragically shot himself during a sixth-grade online Zoom class on Wednesday.

11-year-old Adan Llanos from California was attending his online class at Woodbridge Elementary School in San Joaquin County when he took his own life.

According to reports, his camera and microphone were turned off when the devastating incident happened.

Adan’s sister, who was also studying in another room, immediately ran outside and called for help.

Neighbors said they heard the boy’s sister screaming as they were alone in their house at that time.

Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of someone who has been shot. Officers found the boy with a head injury and he was rushed to a hospital.

“The sister come here, banging on the door,” one neighbor told KCRA.

“That little boy was one the nicest little boys you’ll ever want to know. He was special. Easygoing. He was the type of person who would never hurt anybody. Soft-spoken, with a beautiful smile.”

Sadly, Adan passed away from self-inflicted injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office wrote on their Facebook page: “Our thoughts are with the family and all those affected by this tragic event.”

It is not clear whose gun Adan was using in the tragic incident. Officers are still investigating the details that led to the shooting.

A relative set up a GoFundMe page to help the family with funeral expenses.

Adan’s aunt, Luis Llanos, wrote on Facebook: “It is with a heavy heart that we inform everyone that on December 2 my nephew, Adan Manuel Llanos, has passed away and is in heaven.

“He was a wonderful child full of life and joy. He was the most respectful and sweetest boy ive ever had the honor of calling my nephew! I ask of guys to please help our family in need, if at least share the post!”
