The four-year-old even booked a delivery slot but his dad, Gareth Davies, had to break the bad news that they didn’t have £451.27 for the treats.

Mr. Davies shared the hilarious story on Twitter and wrote: “My 4-year-old nearly caused national food shortage this morning. Got hold of mum’s phone while she slept and ordered 990 mini Peperamis, and a combined 1,200 bakewell tarts and Fab ice lollies from Tesco. Total order £451.27. Even booked a delivery slot.”

“To the Mini-Meathead who tried to order 990 Peperamis (!!),” the letter reads. “Let me just say, you’ve got great taste!!

“Peperami, bacon, sausages… And you’ve even smashed in some bananas and strawberries, too! Fruit isn’t really my cup of tea, but that’s what I call a balanced diet! Well done lad!

“I really appreciate how much of a loyal meathead you are (well done Gareth, you’ve raised a proper legend) but you need to leave some Peperami for the rest of us mate! How are the rest of the UK supposed to get their meaty treats?

“Now, I know it’s not quite the 990 (as a meat stick I’m not made of money, just 100% pork) but I’m sending you a big care package of Peperami, so you and the rest of your family don’t have to worry about running out and trying to empty your local Tesco again!”

Even though the little boy did not get his original order, he will still be getting some delicious Peperamis.
