News, blogs and all other sources of information are filled with negative news all the time.

But there’s always a bit of good going on somewhere in the world and that is what keeps the world going.

The good thing we are looking at today is the story of a thoughtful boy, Thomas Moore. Moore was just eight years old when he decided to grow his hair just so he could donate them to kids with cancer.

The life-changing moment that made Moore do this was a video of a five-year-old girl suffering from cancer. Moore’s little mind could not totally fathom what he was looking at.

His mom told him that cancer is a deadly disease and its cure is possible through chemotherapy.

She also gave him an insight into how the chemo affects the healthy cells of the body along with the cancer cells and damages the scalp cells that grow hair.

Moore was deeply touched after watching the little girl go bald due to the unforgiving chemo. It was when he decided to make a difference for the people, especially the minors, suffering from cancer.

Despite being so young at the time, Moore knew how difficult it would be for the little girl to lose all her hair.

To help the girl, and other cancer patients, Moore decided to grow his hair to a length where they could be used to make wigs.

He didn’t know how much time would it take to grow enough hair for a wig but he was steadfast with his resolve.

Moore’s aunt took it to Twitter to share his story. The tweet went viral and was re-posted more than 57,000 times.

People were surprised at how far a little boy like Moore could go to do the right thing. “My nephew grew his hair out for two years to donate to kids with cancer ‘” the tweet read.

The gesture also made him famous at school. Though he was a bit shy going back to school after he cut his hair, he didn’t regret it.
