10-Year-Old Boy With Cerebral Palsy Hailed ‘Little Legend’ After Raising Money For Coronavirus Victims


The 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who was inspired to walk for charity purposes by Colonel Tom Moore finished his 100 walks, a total of 8,200 feet worth of length, and raised around $60,000 that will be used to pay for coronavirus victims’ funerals.

Manchester-based Ethan Beadrow is an inspirational young man who decided to finish 100 walks down the road in front of his home after getting inspired by World War 2 veteran, Colonel Tom Moore, who raised over $35 million for the NHS.

Despite being unable to stand unaided, Ethan was determined to get through with his challenge and has been dubbed a ‘little legend.’

“It feels amazing to be honest. It is cool, I think Colonel Tom is amazing and I can’t believe he raised that much money for the NHS,” the 10-year-old said.

“It’s so people can pay for the funerals of people who have been victims of Covid-19.”

Applauding the boy’s achievement was also his mum, Catherine, who suggested Ethan achieved a “massive milestone” by doing what they feared he never could.

“Ethan now taking his steps on crutches, we were told he would never be able to do that and he only started practicing two weeks ago,” Catherine said.

Finishing his 100th walk in style, Ethan took to the Manchester City football pitch as he appeared on Good Morning Britain for an interview.

“He has collapsed a few times, but he just gets up again and carries on doing it,” father Ivan added.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people applauded the young boy on social media and branded him a ‘little legend’ and a ‘hero.’
