A six-month-old boy was found with a ‘hand shaped’ bruise on his head when his parents picked him up from a daycare facility at Shawnee, Kansas.

After the baby underwent a scan, it was revealed that he had suffered a bleed on the brain.

When Glen Braun was brought home, it was evident that the little kid had been beaten at his daycare center. A red mark over his face was validating the case.

When Glen’s parents went over to pick him up, the baby boy had ‘puke all over himself.’

Sarah, the boy’s mother, said her son was healthy and cheerful in the morning when she dropped him and his sister off. But when he was picked up from the daycare facility in the evening, he had severe sickness as well as red bruises over his head.

The daycare lady was holding Glen, and my son had puke all over himself and she said he has been throwing up. He threw up all over his Pack ‘n Play, all over another kid, the mother told Fox4KC.

Glen’s dad Brett added: As soon as I started holding him, he vomited all over me. He had a red mark on his face.

The child who had been throwing up all night was then taken to the hospital, where doctors confirmed that he was suffering from a brain bleed.

The head C.T. showed that he had a brain bleed. From there they told us there were signs of abuse. They got the police involved and child services, Brett said.

I was absolutely devastated. I mean he is six-months-old. I don’t know how anyone could ever hit him or do anything to him.

The owner of the daycare facility, who hasn’t been charged with any crime, ‘made excuses’ when Sarah confronted her for her son’s injuries.

She made excuses, saying maybe she was out of the room and another kid did this, the distressed mum said. It was really hard. The kids are my whole life. My family is my whole world.

Kansas Department of Health and Environment has suspended the license of the Shawnee daycare center, whose name has not been disclosed yet.

The police suspect that the child was deliberately hit and are investigating the case as a battery with a personal weapon.

After the investigation, evidence will be handed over to the Johnson County District Attorney to determine whether or not criminal charges should be filed against the daycare.
