Boris Johnson Thanked More Than 405,000 NHS Volunteers


After the government of England had announced and launched the NHS Volunteer Responders scheme yesterday, more than 405,000 people have already joined in.

Boris Johnson has praised all these people for coming forward.

Addressing today’s briefing, Boris Johnson declared his joy. He said that the government had estimated a count of 250,000 people coming forward for volunteering.

However, when 405,000 people came forward in just one day, the government was left impressed by the people.

He also spoke and praised the NHS staff that is constantly working extremely hard to help in the situation of this pandemic.

Stephen Powis, The National Medical Director of the NHS said that he was blown by the responsible public gave with all their hearts.

GP and NHS Director of Primary Care, Dr. Nikki Kanani said “at this crucial time it is our duty to help each other. We need more and more people who are willing to help. Only we can save our nation.”
