A Shocked Mother Describes The Horrifying Moment As BMW Explodes Into A Huge Fireball

A shocked mother has described the horrifying moment, her BMW exploded into flames on a dual carriageway with her baby and toddler sat in the back.

Sara Longley and husband Stuart was screaming to save nine-month-old Eleanor and three-year-old Adam when their car suddenly broke down and smoke started coming from the air vents.

The family tried to come out from the car and they managed to exits the BMW 3-Series minutes before it burst into flames.

The family started to get out of the BMW 3-Series before they got flamed.

Sarah said to the Daily Mail: “It was scary. The only thing that came to my mind when the car smoked was to get out of the car and drive them out.

“When I realized BMW had a problem and sat on it, there was a fire and I was in danger.”

The silence of two was driving using the car ‘s cruise control system at 50 mph.

She found a problem when the car started to move slowly and stopped responding to her pressing the accelerator.

In a matter of seconds, smoke was poured into the vehicle through the air vents in the engine.

Sara and Stuart jumped out of the car in horror after she was able to steer it along the way.

They instantly tried to free their kids from behind their backs, but they realized that the children’s locks were still on, and the only way to save them was to get inside the smoking car.

The couple put the lock on the inside and took the children to safety at the moment before the flames sucked BMW in.

Sara, a PR staffer, added: “We were fortunate enough to be lucky on the dual carriageway, we could not imagine what would happen if we had to get two people out of the car.

“BMW must classify these vehicles before they have a fatal problem.”

I think the car was affected by a fatal flaw with the exhaust cooler system near the engine.

About 1.6 million BMWs worldwide, including 268,000 in the UK, are affected by malfunctions.
