A group of BLM protesters was caught on camera attacking a journalist and rubbing a soiled diaper in her face after she recorded them during a demonstration.
The incident took place at New York City’s Madison Square Park where a 33-year-old woman, who claimed to be an independent journalist, began filming Black Lives Matter protesters.
After the demonstrators demanded she stops filming, the woman reportedly refused, prompting the group to assault her by smashing an egg on her head and rubbing a soiled diaper in her face.
According to DailyMail.com, the journalist was also accused of being a ‘Nazi’ and a ‘fascist’ and was surrounded by the angry mob that pushed her around.
At one point, she was also struck with a skateboard and sprayed over with an aerosol string. The mob also managed to knock the woman’s cellphone to the ground.
During the confrontation, the group reportedly kept on asking the 33-year-old why she was recording them and if she was working for someone. After the woman revealed she was a journalist, the mob surrounded her and began physically assaulting her.
Following the attack on the 33-year-old, the perpetrators allegedly fled the scene. Later on, Crimestoppers has shared photos of the suspects in an attempt to identify and arrest the attackers.
As of this writing, it is not clear whether the authorities have already made any arrests in connection to the protest.
