Homeowner Turned Away A Contractor After Seeing A Huge Confederate Flag Flying From The Back Of His Truck


A black homeowner saw a huge Confederate flag flying from the back of the white contractor’s truck and turned away him.

The clip shows, man is stepping out of his vehicle and walking toward the flag and Allison Brown comes outside with her husband, Zeke.

”Hi, you know what I do apologize. I know you’ve come from a very long way but we’re going to use someone else,”  Brown is heard saying in the video.

Zeke who was seen standing beside her then says: ”She’s upset with the flag.”

”No, I’m beyond upset with the flag,” Brown joked.

The contractor then tells the Brown that he ‘can take it down.’

”No, you don’t need to take it down. You continue to believe what you need to believe sir, but no, I cannot pay you for your service,” she said.

Then the man gets into his truck and pulls off as the large flag flies from the back.

Ryan Spann shared the video on Facebook and said ”the man was a general contractor who had arrived at his uncle Zeke’s house to do a project.”

”When he arrived my aunt caught his huge confederate flag hanging on the back of his truck. Trust no work was done that day…… she cordially thanked him for making the trip but we’re good love enjoy,” Spann’s post reads.

The video has been viewed more than 33000 times and there are many people who agreed with Spann’s aunt refusing to allow the man to work on her home.

”How the contractor thinks he gone make money in an urban setting with a rebel flag? #stupid,” one Facebook user wrote.

Another wrote: ”He really thought he was going to do some half a** work and get paid by a black family! Not today SATAN!”

”Talking bout he can take it down, fool should not have drove up to a business with it on in the first place,” another user said.  

”Good for them! She handled it extremely well,” one user said.
