Biracial 16-Year-Old Teenager Is TASERED By Cop Because He “Looked Suspicious”


Recently, there is footage that captures the moment a cop had tasered a teenager outside of his girlfriend’s home located in Florida.

After the incident, the teenager fell and hit his head on the brick fountain outside of the house.

16-year-old Jack Rodeman had been confronted by a highway patrol officer, George Smyrnios, while he was in the backyard of his girlfriend’s house. His girlfriend lives on the higher end of the neighborhoods inn Indian Laurel Way, Fort Meyers.

In the current arrest report, the officer stated that he “looked suspicious” because the teenager had dark skin and was “dressed all in black”.

The mother of the 16-year-old had accused the officer of “racially profiling her son” because he had not posed any kind of threat. He had permission to head over to the girlfriend’s backyard.

The teenager was later arrested loitering, possession of medical marijuana, and a traffic violation so he was sent to a juvenile detention for a temporary amount of time.

He had been walking through the neighborhood to visit his girlfriend before the officer came up to him and started to follow him. Smyrnios lives in the area and had followed the teenager after he texted his girlfriend that he was waiting for her.

The footage captures the teenager in broad daylight moment before he was tasered by the law enforcement official. He had been looking down at his phone and even put his hands behind his head to follow the cop’s order.

Regardless of following the regular procedures, the cop proceeded to discharge his taser, resulting in the tragic fall. The teenager’s head hits the fountain and even dislodges a brick from the structure.

After the incident happened, his girlfriend comes out of the back door of her house. She told the officer in a calm manner that her boyfriend had permission to be in her backyard, but he was still arrested.

In the police report, he claims that the teenager “darted” through the shrubs and his behavior was “suspicious”. He tailgated him because he “has personal knowledge that this neighborhood has had several burglaries”.

There is no mention of a weapon, though he claims that he was concerned that the teenager might have one. CBS had revealed that the mother of the teenager was traumatized alongside his girlfriend.
