A Man Wrote A Touching Account After His Heart Was Broken Over Judgmental Remarks From A Woman At Coffee Shop

Luc Perreault was testing his mom’s motorbike out on the road when he made a stop at Tim Horton’s, a coffee shop in Ontario, Canada.

A child waved a ‘Hi’ at him but what followed left him heartbroken.

Before we move further, one thing is to be made clear and that is, Luc is a big man. His primary interests include riding motorbikes and getting as much ink on his body as he possibly can.

The man also has mustache and beard, a lot manly overall.

However, by no means, that makes Luc a heartless or a ruthless man. He is very soft at heart and has his own fears and insecurities like all of us.

And the best thing about Luc is that he is not a judgmental person.

However, the world we know is a combination of different people and not everyone is considerate like big Luc. He got a taste of that during his stop at the coffee shop.

As Luc is a big man, most of the people who come across him are scared, seeing his sheer size. At the time, Luc said he “look[ed] like he ‘would eat your soul if you stare at [him] wrong.’”

While Luc was at the coffee shop, a little girl, instead of being afraid of him, came up to him to wave ‘Hi’. Surprised, Luc said ‘Hello’ back to the little lady to return the gesture of a warm welcome.

Usually, if a child walks to a big man to interact with them in a friendly way, their parents are proud but this was not the case with this little girl.

Her mom, clearly a bit too conservative, quickly took the girl away from Luc and told her that she wasn’t supposed to be talking to “dirty bikers.”

This was a heartbreaking statement for Luc because he tries not to be judgmental about people just by looking at them and expects others to do so.

But every now and then, he meets someone who does not reciprocate his thinking.

Disappointed and hurt on the way the little girl’s mom reacted, Luc took to Facebook to write a touching post.

He wrote: “To the family in the red SUV at Tim Horton’s today, yes I am a big 280 lbs guy with motorcycles and full of tattoos. I am a welder, I am loud, I drink beer, I swear and I look like I would eat your soul if you stare at me wrong.

“What you don’t know is that I have been happily married for 11 years, my kids call me daddy, I am a college graduate…

“My mother is proud of me and tells everyone how lucky she is to have such a wonderful son, my nieces and nephews are always happy to see there m’noncl Luc…

“When my daughter broke her arm, I cried more than she did. I read books, I help people, I go out of my way to thank war veterans and I even cried at Armageddon.

“So next time I smile and say hi to your little girl and you grab her and tell her, ‘No no dear, we don’t talk to dirty bikers’… Remember that even tho you hurt my feelings, this ‘dirty biker’ would be the first person to run into your burning house to save your little girls goldfish so she wouldn’t be sad! – L.P.”
