Justin Bieber has strongly denied the recent online allegation that he had sexually assaulted a woman in 2014, posting various evidences that seem to prove his innocence.
The 26 year old singer was adamant and resolute in his defense, saying that the allegation was “factually impossible” on his Twitter account. He shared photos, receipts and contemporary news articles that overall does seem to corroborate with his defense.
In particular, Bieber said that he was with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez when the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place, and that he had many physical evidence that shows that he was with his girlfriend at that time.
The woman who filed charges against Bieber is only identified her first name, Danielle. Bieber underlined how it is rare for him to openly reject and rebut online rumors about him, yet decided to act out because the topic of sexual abuse is something he takes much more seriously.
He said that he has consulted his performance team along with his wife. Bieber has been married with Hailey Rhode, an American model, since 2018.
Although the tweets by Danielle had been deleted not long after, it initially claimed that the pop singer sexually assaulted her in 2014 at Four Seasons Hotel, when Bieber made an unannounced appearance on a music festival that was taking place in Austin, Texas.
One of the evidence that Bieber gave was the receipt that showed he stayed that night at an Airbnb with Gomez. Bieber said that the accuser must not have been aware of this fact, although the initial tweets did mention the presence of Gomez multiple times.
Bieber claimed that he only stayed in the Four Seasons the next night because there were issues with the reservation. Saying that the hotel managers confirmed that he was not at their property on the alleged dates, he urged the media to check and corroborate his claims.
Speaking of the media, Bieber also shared some articles that describes how he and Gomez were together the entire night from the festival to their Airbnb. It is likely that paparazzis or reporters would have noticed if Bieber moved separately to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel.
