Representative Henry Cuellar, a part of the Democratic party, accused the Biden administration of “moving kids from one tent to the other tent,”
Cueller is a part of the House Appropriations committee, saying that the Department of Health and Human Services have been using images that show migrant camps being crowded but he claims that “all they’re [Biden administration] doing is, they’re moving kids from one tent to the other tent… but they’re right next door.”
The people have been speculating as to why Biden would not go to the border himself if the situation rises, but Jen Psaki refutes that the public is not interested, hence his lack of visits.point 263 |

Cueller states that there are probably at least five tents that are run by HHS, which is located next door to the original migrant camps’ location.
Vice President Kamala Harris has intentions to visit Mexico and Guatemala in order to address the situation at hand, but will not be directly visiting the root of the problem. Recently, the Biden Administration had cited that there was a 90% drop in people in comparison to what they had to deal with back in March.
Jen Psaki adds to public comments that “after four years of an immigration system rooted in destructive and chaotic policies, President Biden is taking the challenge head on and building a fair, orderly and humane immigration system, that is our objective.”
News sources have revealed that the HHS has opened at least 14 new emergency shelters in order to alleviate the situation. Still, the Biden Administration fails to comply with the law that requires transferring minors within a 72 hour period.
Minors are being moved from tent to tent, as Cuellar states.
Hopefully the situation will rest as the time passes by, and that the Biden administration will execute plans well.
