The rule may seem strict but is out now and you have no other choice than to follow it.

The rule was implemented following the massive bushfire in the region and the government wishes to take no risk at all that could start another fire in any way. Following this, soon a no fire ban is going to come out soon too.

The 10 demerit points that will be given to the driver will be enough to cancel the license held by the learner and provisional drivers.

The nation has already lost more than 30 people to the massive fire, 500million to 1 billion animals have died, only 5% of koala population is left in the nation and the world, almost double the size of land of Belgium has already burned down, the smoke and the blazes are now creating its own climate, the country has turned orange, and we can go on and on and the harm that has been done will not end.

To protect any such thing from happening in the future the government of NSW has imposed the rules.

The driver is not the only one to be fined in the case. If a passenger is caught in the same practice, they will have to pay a fine of $660.

The minister of the police department said that the issue had been there in the eyes of many but no such serious punishment and law had been imposed for the offense before the catastrophic tragedy happened.
