Whether it is being happy together or sharing the sorrows, you can count on your friends. Having a childhood friend who has been with you through all the phases of life is the most adorable thing.
Childhood friends have a special place in our hearts. They know all your dirty secrets and have been with you through thick and thin of life.
What if you get to spend your lifetime beside your best friend? That’s exactly what has happened to Kathleen Saville and Olive Woodward.
The two 89 years old women since they were just 11. They are together since 1941 and now share the same nursing home. Kathleen and Olive have never lived more than 10 minutes away from each other.
Soon after Saville came to Berry Hill Park Care Home in Mansfield, Woodward followed her. Olive recalled that no matter what goes in her life, good or bad, all she needs to do is spend some time with Kathleen, and everything just lights up.
Unlike other childhood friends who have some instances of fight and quarrel, Kathleen and Olive have never fought with each other. They mean the world to each other.
Seville told BBC that she knew they were going to be friends forever when they first met. She further said if Olive goes first, she will definitely come back to pick me and vice versa. They are going to be friends in heaven too. It is very rare to find such friendship in this digital age.
It is beautiful to share such friendship where your love for each keeps on growing. We can only wish good health and long life for both friends. May they keep strengthening their bond and live a happy and healthy life at the nursing home.
