The scandal went viral after Nagorik TV, a local television network, entered the examination hall at the time when one of her payees was taking an exam pretending to be Nusrat.

The TV channel conducted a crafty and tricky interrogation with the proxy candidate to reveal her real identity.

At first, when the team inquired her about her name she lied confidently, saying that she was Nusrat. When she was asked to display her identity card, she replied that she forgot to bring it with her.

The crew asked her about her true identity repeatedly but every time her reply was just the same.

Besides the brazen attitude of the impersonator and hateful fraud of MP, what’s even more alarming was that the college staff was aware of it.

The college officials knew that the women who were appearing in Nusrat’s exams were just proxies.

“The proxy students were protected by the MP’s musclemen when they sat for the tests,” said a college official.

Explaining why they couldn’t do anything, the official added: “Everybody knew it but nobody uttered a word because she is from a very influential family.”
