An artist from Italy recently went under the limelight for an odd piece of art he made, and it was not even a sculpture or a painting.
Maurizio Cattelan’s art piece called ‘Comedian’ has a real banana duct-taped to a wall.
Comedian was a part of an exhibit at Art Basel Miami Beach and its price made people’s eyes roll back to the back of their skulls. Who would’ve thought that an edible banana costs $120,000?
But then, another artist shocked onlookers. David Datuna started peeling the $120,000-worth fruit and ate it in front of them.

One internet user said: “This banana “art” was ridiculous in the first place. Good thing that these brands mock it. On the other hand, it’s giving the actor even more of a stage, and the time he screws a cherry to the ceiling it’s gonna be half a million. Because people are stupid.”
Another wrote: “I’m surprised that no one duct-taped a roll of duct-tape on the wall.”
