A female baker has gone viral after revealing she started making colorful vegan cakes due to her son’s dairy intolerance.

Switching to animal cruelty-free alternatives was a rewarding challenge that Louise Nicholson from Edinburgh, UK, took on after realizing that dairy products had been ‘poisoning’ her son for over a year.
According to the Naked Bakery owner, vegan alternatives are not only delicious but also in huge demand due to the ever-rising interest in products free of animal suffering.
In her video and pictures, the proud baker revealed various colorful desserts that have become a hit big enough to make her expand her business out of her home kitchen.
As Louise explained, the decision to go vegan was born after her 7-year-old son David started experiencing stomach ache and sickness.
After the mum cut dairy products from his diet, his symptoms improved in a matter of days.
In order to provide David with a birthday cake that wouldn’t make him sick, Louise started experimenting in the kitchen to come up with a dairy-free alternative.
As her vegan-baking skills grew, she became more confident in her new style and drew more attention from high-end local venues interested in plant-based alternatives.
“Our slogan is naughty but nice. People who choose to eat, or not eat certain things as well as those with food intolerances can enjoy all the sweet treats they love and they don’t have to worry about where their food is coming from or if cruelty has gone into producing it,” Louise said.
“We try not to market as vegan because we want everyone to feel welcome here. But I can guarantee there is nothing in the food or the fittings that goes against veganism, no leather in the menus or products in the chairs that would compromise that.”
