A nine-month-old with a cancerous tumour covering her mouth is now going to London from Malaysia for treatment.
Ainul Mardhiah Ahmad Safiuddin, who has been receiving chemotherapy since she was just three months old, will be traveling from Malaysia to London for treatment.
Two doctors from a private hospital in Malaysia will accompany the family to London.
Her father Ahmad Safiuddin Ahmad Razak said that his daughter will undergo an MRI scan in London.
Mr. Razak thanked those who donated for his daughters’ flight and is hoping his daughter gets better treatment in London.
Ainul’s mother Nurul Erwani Zaidi said that the tumour is growing even after having chemotherapy.
It is believed that the nine-month-old have an extragonadal germ-cell tumour which occurs when cells that form sperm and eggs get misplaced in the womb.
The baby’s father said that flying could be risky for his daughter due to her condition but he wants his daughter to be treated soon as she has become less active and is unable to move her body.
The baby will undergo an MRI scan in London and then it will be decided how to treat the nine-month-old with the cancerous tumour covering her mouth.
