A baby miraculously survives a horrible road accident that saw her tore from her mother’s womb and thrown her onto the grass.
The mother, who was heavily pregnant, was a commuter in a truck carrying planks of wood.
As per the reports, the driver lost the control of the wheels and tipped over the motorway near Cajati, between Sao Paulo and Curitiba, in Brazil.
The impact was so high that the mother was thrown out of the truck before being crushed by the planks that the truck was carrying.
She died on the spot, but the baby was ripped from the womb and thrown onto the grass a few meters away.
The medics were shocked when they heard the fussing noise of a baby coming from the bushes.
The baby girl was found without a scratch on her body, and her umbilical cord appeared to have detached during the crash.
The infant was immediately taken to the Pariquera-Acu Regional Hospital where she is receiving treatment in its neonatal intensive care ward.
It was found out that the mother was around 39 weeks pregnant and wasn’t carrying any documents. The social services including the police are reportedly trying to identify the girl’s dead mother.
They have appealed for the woman’s relatives, and if nobody comes, she will be buried as unidentified. On the other hand, the baby will be put up for adoption.
It was a serious accident; however, the driver survived with minor scratches, said Elton Fernando Barbosa, a paramedic who was first on the scene.
When he was looking for the fatal victim, she was found underneath the pile of woods.
