Children tend to mimic their parents and this video shows that aspect in spades. Eight-month-old Hadley is getting ready for a bath and as the water trickles in the background, her dad is being a typical father by horsing around in front of the mirror.
And what does Hadley do? Copy her dad, of course! As the dad huffs and grimaces into his muscle form, baby Hadley follows suit and even copies the “flexing the muscles” part. It’s clear that if this keeps up, she’ll grow up to be a Wonder Woman or perhaps bodybuilding or powerlifting champion. Way to go, dad!
Hadley’s dad is also getting a bit of a workout himself even if he’s only pretend-exercising as the bellyful of laughter that’s coming out of his mouth with every exertion is sure to work out his core muscles.point 296 |

Even if the video is only a few seconds long, it has recorded a priceless and tender moment with her dad, something that she can re-watch many times once she’s all grown up and wondering where all the time went. It’s a great example of how we should make memories for our kids, having fun with them rather than at their expense and perhaps planting the seed for something that they can look forward to becoming in the future.
