The dog, Tony, was let out by the owners because he had to go to the washroom but he started barking, which was a strange thing.

The owners went out to check on him and saw the dog interacting with the little Koala.

As Tony is a very friendly and well-behaved dog, he didn’t get mad at the Koala and the owners got a chance to film the whole thing.

Koalas are herbivorous, with the chief source of their food being the leaves of eucalyptus.

These cute fellows spend about five hours every day for feeding themselves. As they have no competition for food, they chew the leaves thoroughly before ingesting them.

Tony knew that the Koala was no danger for him or his owners so he let the little fellow get comfortable with him.

Koalas are probably the softest animals thanks to their tender fur. However, the fur is not the only thing you can love a Koala for, the way they grab the trees while feeding, the formation of their faces and how they hug their moms all day long are all extremely adorable.

The trees Koalas live in are up to 12 degrees colder than the surrounding atmosphere, making them the equivalent of the air-conditioned rooms we resort to in hot days.

Like Kangaroos, koalas are born without eyes, ears, hair and any ability to survive.

Their mothers keep them in pouches on their belly to keep them warm, nourished and safe. They only come out of their pouch once they are six months of age.
