A baby goat, who was born with one eye, is being worshipped by villagers in India as they believe the goat is sacred.

A baby goat was born with one eye in Assam, India. When villagers came to know about the goat they said it was a miracle and believed the goat was sacred. They have now started worshipping the goat with one eye.
While the vets say that the goat is born with one eye and one ear and would die within a few days.
The goat actually suffers from a condition called cyclopia. It occurs when the two hemispheres of the brain do not separate and cause the defect.
The goat’s owner, Mukhuri Das said that it’s a miracle that the baby goat was born in his home and he believes that it is something from God.
He also said that people are visiting his house to see the baby goat as they also believe that the goat is sacred.
He said: “I was shocked. It’s like a miracle and people have been coming to our place to see this baby goat. It’s my responsibility to take care of the baby goat. I have been feeding him like a normal goat.”
“It might be something from God that the baby goat was born in our house. So many people are coming to our place to see this baby goat. We are happy that it’s making us famous.”
The video of the baby goat was shared online and it instantly went viral, receiving thousands of comments.
One user wrote: ‘Oh poor darling I’m a true goat lover god please bless this dear’ while another user added: ‘I hope they treat him/her with a lot of care’.
The goat is defying the odds as it is still alive and healthy despite the claims that it would die soon.
