But one mother couldn’t believe it when she caught her baby’s heartbreaking first words on camera.

Instead of saying simple words like ‘dad,’ ‘mom,’ or ‘train,’ the tot said a chilling phrase which led to her having heart surgery.

TikToker shawnaannie shared her daughter’s first words in a clip that has been watched over 900,000 times and internet users are also left horrified.

The mom wrote in the caption: “When your daughter’s first words are a plea for help.”

In the terrifying video, her baby can be seen making cute baby noises before saying: “Help me mom.”

The clip immediately gained more than 2,000 comments and over 280,000 likes as it left TikTok users as petrified as the mom.

“It was so clear too omg,” one person commented.

“I did not expect that in the least bit,” another wrote.

“That scared me for real,” a third said.

“HELL NO LMAO ‘help me mom,’” someone else added.

Shawna later commented and said that it was her daughter’s ‘first words’ as she had ‘never said a damn syllable’ before that. “I can’t believe I caught it,” she wrote.

Her daughter’s plea then led to a life-saving discovery.

“That shook me. I took her to the pediatrician, who sent us to the cardiologist who heard a murmur. She had surgery less than a month later,” the mom shared.
