A 6-month-old baby suffered a brain bleed after allegedly being beaten at his daycare center in Kansas.

Baby Glen Braun returned home suffering from severe sickness with vomit all over himself, said his parents. He also had a red hand-shaped mark on the side of his face.

His mother, Sarah, said little Glen had been healthy and happy when she dropped him off that morning. But when she picked him up in the evening, the baby boy had a bruise and was suffering from severe sickness.

“The daycare lady was holding Glen, and my son had puke all over himself and she said he has been throwing up. He threw up all over his Pack ‘n Play, all over another kid,” Sarah told Fox4KC.

Glen’s father, Brett Braun, said: “As soon as I started holding him, he vomited all over me. He had a red mark on his face.”

The parents rushed their baby to the hospital and a doctor confirmed their little boy had a brain bleed.

“The head C.T. showed that he had a brain bleed. From there they told us there were signs of abuse. They got the police involved and child services.

“I was absolutely devastated. I mean he is six-months-old. I don’t know how anyone could ever hit him or do anything to him.”

The parents confronted the daycare owner, who hasn’t been charged with any crime. Sarah said the owner ‘made excuses’ for her baby’s injuries.

“She made excuses, saying maybe she was out of the room and another kid did this,” Sarah said.

The license of the daycare center has been suspended by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. It is also being investigated as a battery with personal weapons.

“It was really hard. The kids are my whole life. My family is my whole world,” Sarah added.
