Australia is in the worst state of its natural resources right now.
On the one side, the massive bushfire has been exhausting all kinds of natural resources including great needs of water.
And on the other side, the region is becoming drought-ravaged.
The authorities of Australia have just released an order of culling of more than 10,000 camels stating that the camels drink extensive water and they release methane equivalent which is equal to one tonne of carbon dioxide produced in about a year.
The locals in the region have filed several complaints of the camels invading their property in search of water as they come in and drink the water stored in the air conditioners and where ever they can find any.
The culling will take place in a period of 5 days through helicopters.
The ecologists say that the population of these camels grows double every five years and that is why it is exceptionally important for the government to take out pest control every few years to keep the population of the camels in control.
As camels contribute to emitting CO2 which is the one thing the nation does not want anywhere near it right now. The fire has already been contributing a lot of CO2 and has made the conditions worse than they were ever before.
Hundreds and thousands of volunteers are fighting the fire every day to keep their community and country safe but the fire is a massive one.
Till now it has burned down a land double the size of Belgium, killing over 500 million animals and about 30 humans.
About 1400 million houses have also gone down in the fire and several species of animals would have wiped out or have got endangered as per the experts.
