The world is struggling to survive.
Where countries like USA, Italy and a few more are still reporting positive cases in thousands every single day, despite months of lockdown, there is a country who is seemingly winning this war.
In Australia, only 4 cases were reported in the last 4 hours. This is a great achievement and can ensure the country’s victory over the deadly disease. If the same continues, Australia will get back to normal life with a few weeks.
The world is now getting envious of Australia as the country is successfully flattening the curve.
The health officials confirmed that until 3 pm on Wednesday, only 4 new cases were recorded. This has happened because of rapid testing. In the past day alone, there had been 12,000 tests in the country.
With the falling number of cases, the deputy chief medical officer of the country Professor Paul Kelly said that because the number of cases has fallen down to almost the level of the end, there is a great chance that the country can resume back to normal very soon.
The strict rules of lockdown can also be eased up now.
He said there is a great chance that the strict rules will be taken away completely in just 3 weeks if the situation continues to be the same.
“Till yesterday afternoon, only 4 cases were registered and we are glad about the progress. More may have been registered later perhaps but the great news is that we are finally able to flatten the curve” Professor Paul Kelly said.
The authorities of the country said that they were only able to do it after they enforced a lockdown in mid of March.
The rapid tests, isolation for the sick, and strict quarantine measures for all have been the practices that have been able to help the country in flattening the curve.
