Madeleine Westerhout, a close assistant of Donald Trump, had a few drinks before speaking to the reporters in an off-the-record conversation about how Trump believes that his daughter Tiffany is overweight.

During the alcohol-fueled talks, she allegedly also spilled secrets about Barron’s eating habits and claimed that she has a better relationship with Donald than with his daughters.

One week after the incident, Westerhout lost her job.

As for Trump, he spoke out and confirmed that he loves his daughter Tiffany and claimed that Madeleine’s statements were “absolutely false.”

After sharing Trump’s personal matters with members of the media the President often refers to as “fake news,” Westerhout had called Trump and apologized for running her mouth during the ‘off-the-record’ dinner.

Among a series of sensitive topics, Madeleine claimed Trump doesn’t like taking pictures with Tiffany due to her weight. While the accusations couldn’t be confirmed, Trump responded by branding them “a little hurtful.”

In an interview with DailyMail, Trump was asked what he’s going to tell his daughter Tiffany following the information leak to which the president responded by saying:

“I’m going to say it’s just absolutely false. She’s a wonderful person. She’s studied so hard, she’s a great student, and she’s such a great – a great person.

“So I look forward to talking to her. I’ll be talking to her as soon as I get — and I love Tiffany. Tiffany’s a great person.”

Speaking of his former personal assistant, Trump suggested she must have “had a bad night” and accused the press of being dishonest.

“I really think she had a bad night. I think it was unfortunate. She said she was drinking,” he said.

“And the whole thing was very unfortunate and I think the press is very dishonest because it was supposed to be off the record. But still you don’t say things like she said which were just a little bit hurtful to some people.”
