His ordeal started on February 20 last year while he was waiting for a bus near the intersection of Leavenworth and Eddy streets.

One person commented: “What would possess someone to do such a thing? Honestly he needs to be removed from society. If he would attack a random vulnerable elderly person he isn’t fit to be on the streets unsupervised.”

Another wrote: “Seriously who raised this creep? Don’t have children if you can’t look after them and take the time to teach them about right and wrong and the consequences of their (in) actions.”

A third added: “So BRAVE attacking an unsuspecting elderly person. Why commit such a cowardly act. I’m not religious per se, but do think they will know the pain they have caused when they leave this world.”
