Hundreds Of Armed Locals Confronted BLM Protesters With Guns And Baseball Bats


Some 80 Black Lives Matter protesters were overrun by a force of hundreds of locals armed with guns and baseball bats in a small town in Ohio.

The protest and the subsequent opposition took place in the town of Bethel, Ohio, where a staggering 97% of the residents are white. Meanwhile, only 13 residents in the town with a population of nearly 19,000 are black.

As some eighty protesters took to the streets to protest police brutality and racial injustice, a force of 700 counter-protesters confronted them with firearm and baseball bats.

While one was standing in front of the attacker and one behind him, neither moved in to arrest the man or remove him from the protest after the protester got punched from behind.point 146 | 1

In another footage, the opposition ripped a sign from a protester before the female managed to escape their grip.

While the planned event was intended to be a peaceful protest attended by a few dozen people, the protesters were surprised as large crowds of counter-protesters – including members of bikers groups and groups advocating the Second Amendment – started showing up.

As the counter-protesters began taking over the area and pushing the protesters away with the help of their motorcycles, they were heard shouting ‘all lives matter’ and ‘blue lives matter.’

According to the reports, no arrests were made on Sunday despite some protesters getting assaulted by the counter-protesters. On Monday, as the protests extended into the second day, five arrests were made.

Condemning the violence at the protests was mayor Jay Noble who said:

“I am completely against behavior that is illegal or infringes on any American’s constitutional rights. Some of the law-breaking behavior that we have seen over the last couple of days is appalling and disgusting and does not reflect the values of our community.”
