It looks like Ariana was planning on getting a new hairstyle before the corona lockdown but she only showed them to her fans on Instagram this Monday.

Ariana, 26, captioned her Instagram photo with the new hairstyle, saying: “Get a load of dis.”

In the selfie she shared, the star can be seen posing while her curly hair falls down on her forehead and extend down to her back.

With her flawless complexion and accurately balanced eyeliner, the singer looked absolutely glamorous. She rested her chin in her hand with her fingers partly covering her lips, revealing white-pink manicure.

Ariana Grande adopted the ponytail hairstyle after becoming a superstar.

Before that, she used to have her curly locks in their natural form. Her old look was captured by cameras when she premiered at Broadway.

Ariana revealed in 2014 that she adopted the ponytail style with long locks and tight top in order to conceal the damage caused to her hair by bleach.

Ariana starred on Nickelodeon’s Victorious from 2010 to 2013 and the character she played had bright red-dyed hair.

The makeup for that character left her with damaged locks, Ariana explained in a Facebook post in 2014.

She wrote: “I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair.

“My real hair is back to brown and I wear extensions but I wear it in a ponytail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down.”

Even after the need for that hairstyle ended, Ariana continued following the same style, which had become a part of her.

Speaking about her hairstyle in a statement to Fader, she said: “I mean, it’s like a Victoria Secret angel without angel wings. It’s still her without them, but when she’s with them it’s like, ‘Ohh, I get it, she’s an angel.’”

Singer Camila Cabello, the one who sang the song “Havana,” tried to adopt Ariana’s hairstyle in 2018.
