Naomi Seibt, also known as the anti-Greta, has addressed the conservatives and defended a white nationalist during the Friday’s Conservative Political Action Conference.
Speaking her mind in front of prominent Republican figures in National Harbor, Maryland, 19-year-old Seibt claimed that “carbon dioxide will never destroy the planet.”
In an interview with the reporters, the teen also revealed she’s still a fan of Stefan Molyneux, a white nationalist whom she previously praised in one of her YouTube videos.
When asked about the controversial blogger’s comments, in which he claimed that Poland was “civilized” and “safe” because it’s “an all-white country,” Ms. Seibt said:
“He’s not comparing other races, not at all. He is just describing his experience in Western countries and I know that to the extent, for example, if I was in a country where Sharia was present, I know that I would not be able to speak as freely as in Western countries.
“It’s not that we are better in any way in Western countries. We still have freedom of speech and I’m very happy that’s the case.”
During the conference, the young “climate realist” has also touched the topic of climate science and slammed the “alarmists” for “fear mongering and using panic as a tool to restrict our freedoms.”
“The climate has always been changing, and so it’s ridiculous to say we deny climate change. Man vastly overestimates his power if he thinks he can, with CO2 emissions, destroy the climate,” Seibt, who was dubbed anti-Greta, said.
Among other comments, Seibt has also reassured the audience that she’s “not the puppet of the right wing or the climate deniers.”
When asked if she wanted to have a chat with 17-year-old eco-warrior Greta Thunberg, she added: “I wouldn’t want to debate her on the science because I don’t want to destroy her.”
