The Academy Award winner of the novel Silence of the Lambs, Anthony Hopkins, has no intention to share his politics, acknowledging that the actors are pretty stupid.
While conversing with Brad Pitt, he said that he usually does not accept the opportunity to share his view about the world event or movie industry because it is not worth anything.
He said that he does not hold any opinion, and actors are stupid, he feels. He added that his viewpoint is not worth anything.
He also noted that there is no controversy for him, so it is better to not engage with him and concluded that he is not going to participate.
The writer added that he does not goes for movies regularly and does not like green screen movies though he appreciated Brad Pitt’s role in “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.”
His words were that he is not great at going to watch the green screen films and added that he has been in a few movies and admitted they are fun but they do not attract him. He feels he is old for them.
He also noted that celebrities should remain out of politics. He mentioned that he, as an actor, has never gone out to talk about politics.
According to him both Democrats and Republicans buy film tickers.
He admitted that he had a strong viewpoint but did not choose to talk about it in public and added that now that someone is in the office, everyone should come together and support that person and offer them the chance to succeed.
He even said that he would have a burger with the U.S. President if offered the opportunity.
