If you’ve ever been wondering how it feels feeding pigs cookies, South Carolina’s Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary is now looking for animal lovers to help them take care of neglected, abused, and abandoned animals that ended up in their care.

The safe haven is operated by volunteers whereas their goal is not only to care for the rescue animals but also to educate people about proper care for the animals.

They have also come up with the idea of having a ‘Piggy Cuddler Team’ that consists of volunteers who snuggle with pigs in order to help them socialize and prepare them for adoption.

“When we rescue an adoptable pig, we place them in our foster and adoption program. We need loving foster homes, and forever homes for some amazing and sweet animals!” the sanctuary’s site reads.

Speaking of adorable animals that love food, a friendly dog whose custom-made collar suggests he loves sneaking off to food parties has made yet another getaway as he crashed a family reunion in Georgia.

As Leslie Kowash revealed, she was positively surprised when a friendly dog attended their family reunion despite not being on the guest list.

“We were in the yard of our cottage, with a big buffet table full of delicious southern food,” she said in an interview with The Dodo as she recalled a friendly plump dog paying them a visit.

According to Kowash, the true intentions of the dog were unknown until she went in for a belly rub only to spot an unusual message on the dog’s custom-made collar.

“PLEASE DON’T FEED ME I’M GETTING TOO BIG, SEND ME HOME,” the engraving read.

Apparently, this wasn’t the sweet pooch’s first time of running away from home in search of free snacks.

“Fortunately for him, not everyone read the tag. He got a few bites from other people. Once we started cleaning up, he must have decided he wasn’t going to get much more, because the next time I looked, he had moseyed home,” Kowash added.
