Customers should be treated as a god.

Who did even say these words? These words should never be followed. I am a consumer but the consumers are not always right. Although the majority of businesses are in favor of the consumers, some consumers do not see the thin line between the benefits to the consumers and loss to the seller.

A policy of a business can be changed anytime and it all depends on the owner or the manager of the business. The consumer cannot force them to modify their policies.

A woman most probably in her mid-40s walked into a 7- eleven store followed by her teenage son. The woman ordered some food and took 2 cold coffees to go with. She took the stuff and brought the things to the counter while she constantly kept talking on the cell phone.

The store in the New York City started selling cold coffees in June and as an attracting policy, they launched the cold coffee at $0.99 dollar. The policy was meant for some time and it changed when the store started getting enough customers for their coffee.

This woman was not the kind of customer the store managers were expecting. Well, no one ever expects these kinds of customers at all. The woman brought some food products and too cold coffees to the counter. She then started arguing with the men standing behind the counter. She must have been arguing over the price of the coffee which now was $1.69.

The argument made her furious and the anger was out on her face now. The man behind the counter did not lose his temper and tried to handle the situation politely. The woman was not the person who deserved politeness.

While the argument was still going on, she fiddled her hand over some food she had brought to the counter. She moved a few and then opened the lid of a coffee. Within split seconds, she took the glass and threw it on the counter and the men standing behind it.

The incident costed the store owner cigarettes worth $200 that were stacked under the counter.
