According to reports, Angelina Jolie wants to revive her marriage with Brad Pitt.
The Sun quotes an anonymous source who told the tabloid: ‘’Angelina has made it clear to Brad that she wants to be back in a relationship with him.’’
The 43-year-old actress, according to the report, is ‘dragging out’ the divorce negotiations in the hope of a reconciliation.
The Sun’s source claimed: ‘’She would like them to be a family again and doesn’t seem capable of moving on,’’
‘’That’s why she is making it so difficult for Brad with every detail of their divorce.’’
The newspaper goes on to report that Brad isn’t interested in getting back together with his ex but does want to maintain an amicable relationship with Jolie for the sake of their kids.
The Sun’s source stated: ‘’He just wants it all settled in reality, this could have been over a year ago — but she won’t let go.’’
The couple is parents to Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Angeline filed for divorce in September 2016 and the couple was locked in a bitter custody battle over their six children before reaching a deal in November.
In January, Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 55, were seen meeting together twice at attorneys offices in Beverly Hills as they work on the details of their divorce.
Meanwhile, PageSix.com claimed in March that Pitt and Jolie had requested a court to make them legally single again even though their divorce hasn’t been finalized.
Angelina and Brad fell in love on the set of the movie Mr And Mrs Smith were together for eight years before tying the knot in 2014.
In her divorce filing two years later, Jolie cited irreconcilable differences and sought primary custody of their children, three of whom are the couple’s biological children and three of whom are adopted.
Brad was previously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005.
Angelina had two previous marriages – to Johnny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999 and to Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003.
