Film fanatic Andrea David has built up a massive following on Instagram with her unique photography. Andrea travels to the location in which it was shot to create picture-perfect matches.
The @filmtourismus blogger, from Germany, has more than 300,000 followers who watch as she ‘explores the world scene by scene’.
From New York for Ghostbusters to Maya Bay in Thailand where The Beach was filmed Andrea has traveled far and wide for her hobby.
But Andrea’s favorite is very different, previously revealing how much she loved visiting Jordan to uncover an Indiana Jones gem.
‘One of the most exciting places I visited was Jordan,’ she told the Independent. ‘Visiting places like Petra – seen as Canyon of the Crescent Moon, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
‘Or the desert Wadi Rum, for example, seen as the surface of Mars in The Martian – was an overwhelming and almost unreal experience I will never forget. ‘
She also revealed her Instagram page can sometimes help give people travel inspiration, visiting places they had only ever seen on screen.
‘A lot of people wrote to me that they are grateful because they finally know if and where they can find their places of longing or just received great new travel ideas,’ she continued.
‘They are really happy to experience the screened places firsthand or to dive into the landscape or city seen in a film or TV series. This motivated me to continue.’
